Welcome to the website of the BBC Rambling Section.
Our aim is to have a Saturday or Sunday walk once a month, plus spring and autumn short breaks and at least one longer holiday each year. We also have the occasional weekday walk.
Stuart Lindley
It is with great sadness that I have to advise you that Stuart Lindley passed away on 13th March 2024 peacefully in a nursing home in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
Stuart went into hospital just before Christmas ’23 after a fall, followed by a stay in a rehabilitation centre then onto a nursing home where he stayed until he passed.
Like many we have fond memories of walking with Stuart.
