Welcome to the website of the BBC Rambling Section.
Our aim is to have a Saturday or Sunday walk once a month, plus spring and autumn short breaks and at least one longer holiday each year. We also have the occasional weekday walk.
Unfortunately another obituary. Glenys Lyons has died. Glenys and her husband Mike were long standing members of the group and participated fully in all of our activities. Many of us will remember the annual barbecues that they kindly hosted in their garden in Guildford. And squeezing into their campervan in Switzerland to escape the rain.
